Reverse Classroom

Objectives

  • to create opportunities for students to explore teaching and learning in a new and reversed way
  • to develop autonomy among students
  • recognize the importance of acknowledging the knowledge of students, and charging them with the responsibility of educating their peers, younger students, and teachers

Expected Outcomes

  • students will be able to exhibit what they believe they are good at (for example, computer skills, guitar, poetry reading, storytelling, creative writing, do-it-yourself crafts etc.)
  • other students and teachers can learn different skills from the participating students
  • students may develop the ability to understand the teaching-learning dynamics in a more informed way
