For a law student one of the quintessential skills required for a successful legal career is the art of advocacy. Mooting enables a student to identify issues, conduct quality research, systematically arrange arguments and gain command over the field of research. It gives student an opportunity to holistically approach an issue and notice all the possible angles in it.

 

AIM of VSL-MCC:

Understanding this importance, VSL strives to impart rigorous moot court training to the students. VSL-MCC is a student-run committee with the administration responsibilities of conducting moot court competitions and related activities. VSL-MCC aims to uphold the vision and reputation of VIT’s Institute of Eminence for the constant commitment and sincere efforts to strive for greater heights each year.

VSL-MCC commits to train the students to inculcate critical thinking ability that would make a graduating student ready to litigate in lower as well as higher courts of the country.

VSL-MCC also commits to handle cross-boundary areas and panglobal issues enabling the students of VSL ready to venture global opportunities in the field of law.

VSL-MCC conducts various workshops and training sessions from the experienced mooters and litigators from the industry. VSL-MCC also encourages students to interact and network with the best legal lumineers of the country and globe to support their professional growth.

VSL-MCC supports and encourages students in all possible ways to learn and a scope to improve their skills of advocacy.
