Specialization Areas: Strategic Management/Corporate Strategy, Marketing Management, Digital & Social Media Marketing, Retail Management, and Business Research Methods.

Dr. Arun Kumar’s research and teaching methods include industry-relevant case studies and research papers, as well as a strong emphasis on modern practical learning via an integrated, flipped classroom and a revised Bloom’s taxonomy approach. As a facilitator, he has worked with reputable institutions such as St. Theresa International College in Bangkok, Raffles Education Group in Singapore/Malaysia, and S.P.Jain Institute of Management-Dubai.

He has worked as an adjunct Module Leader (External Business Environment and Hospitality Marketing), produced state-of-the-art pedagogy with World Education Council, Singapore, affiliated with The Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom, and for Texila American University. He worked with TCS, HCL, and TVS personnel as part of an industry alliance to assist them in learning. He is also a member of the editorial board and a reviewer for the Iranian Journal of Management Studies since 2014 and the SAMVAD International Journal of Management (Symbiosis Institute of Management) since 2015. He completed research project consultation for HCL-Company.

He developed Modules like Strategic Management, Brand Management, Digital & Social Media Marketing, and Business Research Methods. He has published articles in ABDC, ESCI, and SCOPUS indexed Journals and also presented at several international conferences. Besides, he has supervised Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral students on several research projects. He has also been the facilitator for various seminars and workshops on research methods using SPSS software and creating structural equation models using AMOS-IBM software. He is a certified Management Teacher in Strategic Management, facilitated by the Strategic Management Forum of India (SMFI), IIM-Bangalore, IIM- Noida, IIM- Kozhikode, IIM- Calcutta, IIFT-New Delhi, and BIMTECH and organized many FDP cum EDP. He completed his Advance Diploma in Teaching Higher Education from The Nottingham Trent University -United Kingdom.

He has developed an Integrating Flipped Classroom with Bloom’s Modified Taxonomy Model as a New Paradigm for Management Education. The project was funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) -Impactful Policy Research in Social Science (IMPRESS) Scheme.
