Apart from various inter-university events, the event included memorable Pro-show performances by popular artistes Benny Dayal, Damini Bhatla and Aditya Iyer.

Republic Day Celebrations

The 69th Republic Day was celebrated at VIT-AP campus on 26th January, 2018. The occasion was graced by Sri Dr. Sreedhar Cherukuri, IAS, Commissioner, Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA), Govt of Andhra Pradesh. On this occasion, VIT-AP felicitated three important persons who rendered their selfless service to the society by saving lives of many individuals and demonstrated a unique sense of civic consciousness.

Hike in Faculty Salaries

VIT-AP announces the implementation of the 7^th Pay Commission for faculty members with effect from 1^st July 2018. VIT was one of the first private institutions in the country to implement the 6^th pay scale, as VIT has consistently focused on welfare of the faculty members. Now again, VIT is one of the first private institutions to announce the implementation of 7^th pay commission for the faculty members.
