The VIT-AP School of Business (VSB) signed and exchanged a Collaborative Education Agreement on 1st May, 2018. The MoU was exchanged by the Chancellor of VIT-AP, Dr. G. Viswanathan and Dr. Daniel E. Little, Chancellor of University of Michigan, Dearborn, USA. This is in continuation with the LoI signed between Dr. Raju Balakrishnan, Dean, College of Business, UMD and Dr. S. Jeyavelu, Dean VSB, VIT – AP on 19th March, 2018 and exchanged in the presence of the Hon'ble CM of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu. As per the Understanding, students enrolling into the BBA programme in VSB will have the option of finishing their degree with UMD. The first two years of the BBA programme will be by the VSB at VIT-AP and the next two years at UMD, USA.
VIT-AP announces the implementation of the 7th Pay Commission for faculty members with effect from 1st July 2018. VIT was one of the first private institutions in the country to implement the 6th pay scale, as VIT has consistently focused on welfare of the faculty members. Now again, VIT is one of the first private institutions to announce the implementation of 7th pay commission for the faculty members.
