At VIT-AP, we believe that sound mental and good physical health are crucial for  holistic development. With a strong emphasis on recreation of students, VIT-AP students, faculty and staff are provided facilities which keeps them active, spirited, involved, and healthy.  Several intramural sports events are organised where students compete in cricket, badminton, volleyball, chess etc.  Apart from intramural sports, different colleges and universities also participate in our in-house Sports and Cultural fest VITopia.<\/p>\n\n

International Karate Championship<\/h3>\n

\n Our University students (Boys & Girls) participated in the 4th<\/sup> International Karate Championship,which was held on 31\/01\/2020 to 02\/02\/2020 at Rajivgandhi Port Stadium Visakhapatnam, organized by the UNITED SHOTOKAN KARATE-DO INDIA. More than 700 contestants participated in the competition in various categories namely University students,Other States, Clubs and Other Countries.As a matter of pride , our Boys & Girls team won total 13 Medals.<\/p>\nThe following Students received the Medals\n
