Benarji Chakka graduated with BAL., LL.B., from Andhra University; LL.M from School of Oriental African Studies (SOAS) University of London; M. Phil., and Ph. D., in international law from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. He also completed Postgraduate Certificate Course in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education and Postgraduate Diploma in French Language, Literature and Culture from National University of Ireland (NUI), Galway, Republic of Ireland.
He was British Chevening Scholar at SOAS in 2015-16. He worked as Professor of Law at Alliance School of Law, Alliance University, Bangalore, Associate Professor of Law at Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad; Associate Professor of Law and Registrar at National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJAA), Lecturer at School of Law, National University of Ireland (NUI), Galway and worked as Legal Adviser to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Regional Delegation for South Asia, New Delhi, India and also worked as Research Associate at the Indian Society of International Law (ISIL).
He published three books in the field of international humanitarian law and international aviation and space law and several research articles in the reputed journals. He presented research papers in national and international conference and workshop; he has been invited by various Law schools and Universities in India to deliver Lectures; he was also invited by UGC Academic Staff colleges in India to deliver lecturers in the UGC Refresher and Orientation Programmes. He is associated as a judge with Philipp Jessup Moot Court Competition; Manfred Lachs International Space Law Moot Court Competition for Asia-Pacific Round; Stetson International Environmental Law Moot Court Competitions; Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Court Competition in India and South Asia Region; Price Media Law Moot Programme organised by University of Oxford. He participated as Researcher at the Centre for Studies and Research in International Law and International Relations in 2015 at The Hague Academy of International Law and recipient of The Doctoral Scholarship awarded by The Hague Academy of International Law.

Ms. M. MAHATHI

Prof. Morampudi Mahathi holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the V.D. Siddhartha Law College. Subsequently, she completed the LL.M., Programme at the NALSAR University of LAw, and Hyderabad with specialization in Criminal Law. She has started her teaching assignment at VIT-AP School of Law (VSL) since inception of the Law School. Her areas of research interest, include, Criminal law, Contracts and Family Law and Corporate Laws.

Ms. CH. AMRITA GULSHAN
Assistant Professor
Prof Ch. Amrita Gulshan pursued B.A., LL.B. (Hons) from M.S. Ramaiah College of Law, Bangalore and further pursued her masters ie.,LL.M. from Andhra University with International Law specialization in which she attained Smt. Kanugula Padmaja Sudheer Gold Medal for securing first rank in her batch and Prof Adivikolanu Sri Rama Chandra Rao Prize for academic excellence. She qualified UGC NET examination, a part from that she attended workshop conducted by UNDP on Bio Diversity in DSNLU. Her previous work experience in a law firm included her handling matters before Chief Justice of Kerala High Court Justice Antony Dominiq and had also independently handled various matters before High Courts and lower courts of Kerala and Hyderabad. She was an active participant in moot court, elocutions and sports. She also interned at various law firms in Bangalore including Fox Mandal. Her areas of research interest include International Law, International Trade Law, Space Law, Environmental Law, International Humanitarian Law and Human rights Law

Prof. Mula Sneha Goud
Assistant Professor
Prof Mula Sneha Goud pursued B.B.A.LL.B (Hons.) from JSS Law College, Mysore, LL.M in Commercial Laws from Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU), Vishakhapatnam. Currently she is also Pursuing PhD in Technology and Data Privacy Laws from Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur (MNLUN). She qualified UGC NET and Karnataka State Eligible Test for teaching. To her credit she has published research articles in reputed UGC recognized journals and has presented papers in national and international conferences. She also attended workshops and seminars in India. Before starting her career in academics she was associate and practiced law with Public Prosecutor, Advocate General and Asst. Solicitor General. In previous work she undertook the responsibilities as Academic Coordinator, Internship and Placements, Moot Court, Legal Aid, NAAC coordinator, ICC, Member secretary, Member Board of Studies, Credit Equivalence Committee and Departmental Academic Council. Her area of research interests include Insolvency and Bankruptcy Laws, Competition Law, Cyber Laws, Legal Methods, Legal Systems and Reasoning, Sports Law, Infrastructure Law, Law of Contracts, Law of Evidence, Administrative Law and Data Protection and Privacy Laws.

Prof. Avin Tiwari
Assistant Professor
Prof Avin Tiwari has joined the VSL as an Assistant Professor He is pursuing his doctoral research (PhD) from Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, IIT Kharagpur, India. He has a master’s degree in law i.e, LLM with University Gold Medal from the University of North Bengal, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law i.e, LLB from the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. He is a professionally qualified Company Secretary – ICSI and the recipient of the Junior and Senior Research Fellowship in Law awarded by University Grants Commission for pursuing doctoral research. He has completed the ASEAN Law Academy Advanced Course 2021 on ASEAN Investment and Trade Laws with Educator Scholarship from the Center for International Law, National University of Singapore. His areas of research interest include, Corporate Laws, Taxation and Jurisprudence. He is an active member of professional and academic bodies like ICSI (India), IPPA (France), AsianSIL (Singapore) and IPIRA-Asia. He has publications in leading law journals and paper presentations at national and international conferences on diverse legal issues.
Prof. Pranav Anand Ojha

Prof. Pranav Anand Ojha has joined as Assistant Professor of Law at the VSL. He completed LL.B, from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi and LLM in Intellectual Property Law from National Law University, Jodhpur. In addition to being an avid researcher in the field of intellectual property rights, he has also taken part in many workshops related to this area. He has presented papers at national and international conferences. He is highly interested in conducting research on Constitutional Law and Jurisprudence. Having developed an interest in fundamental and human rights, he is currently conducting his Doctoral research at Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad (MNLUA), on the Rights of Indigenous Communities and their Protection under Intellectual Property Law.
Prof. Iram Khan
Assistant Professor
Prof. Iram Khan graduated with B.A.LL.B. (Honours) from Aligarh Muslim University, LL.M., M.Phil., and PhD from South Asian University New Delhi. She was the second rank holder in B.A.LL.B (Honours) and LL.M. She has qualified UGC- NET in the Subject of Law. She has attended the IGLP Scholars Workshop 2019 organized by Institute for Global Law and Policy, Harvard Law School in Bangkok, Thailand. She has been an Indian Equality Law Visiting Fellow with Prof. Tarunabh Khaitan at Melbourne Law School. She has also presented at the Symposium on Inequalities and International Law organized by European Journal of International Law in 2020. Her Paper was adjudged as one of the top 18 papers in a field of more than 50 papers presented in nine panels by 59 junior academics during the Junior Scholars Conference of the 7th Asian Society of International Law Biennial Conference in Quezon City, Philippines in 2019. She has presented paper at Melbourne Doctoral Forum on Legal Theory organized by Melbourne Law School, The University of Melbourne. She has attended and presented at Symposium on Critical Approaches to International Law organized by Griffith College, Dublin, Ireland. Recently her Paper was well received at the Queering International Law 2.0 Workshop organized by the Australia and New-Zealand Society of International Law Gender, Sexuality and International Law Interest Group and supported by Deakin Law School, the Institute for International Law and the Humanities at Melbourne Law School, and La Trobe Law School in November 2022 in Melbourne, Australia. Her core research interests include Rights of Women and Minority Rights in South Asia, Feminist Legal Theory and Gender in International Law.
Prof. Kirtika Sahu

Prof. Kirtika Sahu has done her B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. with specialization in Constitutional and Administrative Law from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow. She has qualified UGC-NET in law and currently she is pursuing her Ph.D. from Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur in Cyber laws. She has worked as a Research Assistant at Uttar Pradesh Human Rights Commission, Lucknow (UPHRC) and submitted her research report on the topic of Euthanasia. She has also been associated as a Content Editor and Editorial Writer with a law firm for a project where she wrote articles on various topics including politics, media, legal news, business and science and technology. Her articles were also published on the project website. She also has keen interest in Computers and has Computer related Diplomas and Certificates to her credit. Her areas of research interest include Constitutional law, Administrative law, Laws relating to Technology and Cyberspace, Media laws, Law of Evidence, Law of Torts and Consumer Protection and Laws relating to Women.
Prof. Kshama Pandey

Prof. Kshama Pandey is a legal scholar, an academician, and a lawyer. She has Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Barkatullah University-Bhopal and She has LL.B. from the Faculty of Law, Banaras Hindu University, and LL.M. from National Law Institute University, Bhopal. She has cleared UGC-NET during 2019-20. Prior to VSL she has served as a Researcher and Academic Tutor at O. P. Jindal Global Law School, Sonepat, and as an Assistant Professor at Presidency University, Bangalore. She has also worked with State Human Rights Commission Madhya Pradesh at Bhopal on a project titled as “A study on Child Beggars in the city of Bhopal, Indore, and Ujjain”. Her area of specialization is Constitutional and Administrative, Criminal Laws, Property Laws, Civil Procedural Laws, Contract Law, and Commercial Laws. She has a vivid interest in History and Economics and She adores having interactive discussions on History.
Prof. Ananthu S. Hari
Assistant Professor
Prof. Ananthu S Hari joined as an Assistant Professor at the VIT-AP School of Law in December 2022. He graduated with a BBA LL.B (Hons) from the School of Indian Legal Thought, Mahatma Gandhi University in 2016. He received first rank in LL.M from IIT Kharagpur’s Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law with specialization on Intellectual Property Law in 2018. Presently, he is pursuing Ph.D. from IIT Kharagpur on the topic “Geographical Indications Protection in the Context of Post-TRIPS Free Trade Agreements in Asia” and has submitted the thesis. While pursing Ph.D., he received a full scholarship funding from the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India. Many of his research papers have been published in scholarly journals and books. He has also presented his works at many international conferences. His areas of research interest are Intellectual Property Law, Geographical Indications Law, Traditional Knowledge and Biodiversity Protection Laws, Comparative Copyright Law and International Trade Law.
Prof. Anjali Yadav

Prof. Anjali Yadav completed her B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) from the Faculty of Law, Lucknow University in 2016. She also completed her Masters in law from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai in 2017 and specialises in Access to Justice. She has qualified UGC-NET in 2017. Currently, she is a full-time Research Scholar at the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. She has an extensive interest in research and advocacy. She has worked with the State Government of Madhya Pradesh under Chief Ministers Young Professionals for Development Programme (CMYPDP) and has worked on research and policy issues like Ujjawala Yojna, Self Help Groups etc. Prior to joining VSL, VIT-AP She was an Assistant professor of Law, at Army Law College Pune wherein she dealt in subjects like Law of Tort and consumer protection law, International Economic Law, Investment and Securities Law, Legal and Constitutional History and Property and Easement Law. She was also a Faculty at Law Center-II of the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi where she taught Law of Contract, Partnership, Sale of Goods Act etc. She has also presented various papers at national and international conferences and has publications to her credit. She has also actively participated in various training, workshops and FDPs.
Prof. Sudhir Verma
Assistant Professor of Law
Prof. Sudhir Verma has completed M.Phil. and PhD in International Law at the Centre for International Legal Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University New Delhi. He is an alumnus of Government Law College where he has completed BLS LLB, and holds LLM Degree in Environmental Law from University of Mumbai and he has qualified UGC NET in December 2014. Before joining VSL, VIT-AP University, he was a regular faculty at Symbiosis Law School NOIDA. He was also worked as Research Associate, Russia-Ukraine SPG at the India International Centre (IIC), New Delhi. At IIC, he is involved in research activities with Amb. K. P. Fabian. He has presented research papers in prestigious international conferences organized by International Law Association, Critical Legal Studies, Arctic University of Norway, Asian Society of International Law and Indian Society of International Law. In November 2022, he was awarded three years membership of Asian Society of International Law for his presentation at the Junior Scholars Workshop organized by Centre for International Law, National University of Singapore (NUS). He was awarded ICSSR doctoral fellowship for the years 2018-2020. At JNU he was the student head of JNU Photography Club. His core research and interest areas include International Legal Theories, Public International Law, Private International Law, International Trade Law, International Investment Law, Philosophy of Law, Critical Legal Studies, Environmental Law and International Relations theories.
