Basic pay band:
  • Assistant Professor (AP Grade 1): Rs. 65,800
  • Assistant Professor (Senior Grade 1): Rs. 77,900
  • Associate Professor Grade 1: Rs. 104,000
  • Professor Grade 1: Rs. 136,000
Other pay related details:
  • HRA at Amaravati, VIT-AP: 10% of basic pay
  • DA at Amaravati, VIT-AP: 31% of basic pay
  • Performance Appreciation Pay (PAP): Maximum of 15 days’ gross salary based on the points scored out of 100 (variable pay)
  • EPF – Employer contribution: Max. of Rs. 1,800 p.m.
  • Health Insurance Premium (HIP) contribution by VIT-AP
  • Leave encashment options (CL, EL and ML)
  • Three weeks of paid vacation
