Dr. Aparna Vemulapalli

Management Accounting, Banking, Direct Taxation and Financial Management.

Aparna Vemulapalli has interest in teaching Banking, Financial Accountancy, Management Accountancy, Direct Tax Laws and Indirect Tax Laws. She is qualified CWA from ICWAI and achieved merit certificate in CWA intermediate. She also completed CS intermediate. She cleared NET in Management in 2012. She pursued her PhD in LIBA, Chennai and was awarded PhD by University of Madras in 2021.

Before entering into academics, she had 12yrs of industry experience in different sectors like software, trading, manufacturing and health care. Her diverse professional experience includes in preparation of annual accounts, budgeting, financial management and business profitability reporting. She started her career in academics as assistant professor in St. Josephs Institute of Management, Bangalore in 2009. Her research interests in rural finance, financial inclusion and banking. She presented papers in both national and international conferences and also published papers in Scopus and UGC listed journals.
