The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is designed to provide breadth and suitable depth. VSB believes that every manager should be strongly grounded in the fundamentals of management. The BBA curriculum is built on the liberal education foundation with exposure to Engineering & Technology. Introductory Science, Engineering & Technology courses in BBA are attempted for the first time in the country.
Chancellor of VIT-AP,Dr. G. Viswanathan and Dr. Daniel E. Little, Chancellor of University of Michigan, Dearborn, USA signed and exchanged a Collaborative Education Agreement on 1st May, 2018. This is in continuation with the LoI signed between Dr. Raju Balakrishnan, Dean, College of Business, UMD and Dr. S. Jeyavelu, Dean VSB, VIT – AP on 19th March, 2018 and exchanged in the presence of the honourable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
As per the agreement students enrolling into the BBA programme in VSB will have the option of finishing their degree with UMD. On completion of two years from VSB, students fulfilling the required criteria can transfer the VSB course credits to UMD. On completion of the two years of study there, they get a BBA from UMD.
Students will also be provided the additional incentive of a scholarship which will reduce the tuition fees at UMD substantially compared to other international students studying there.
VSB BBA students thus have the following options:
– BBA from UMD – 2 years in VSB + 2 years in UMD
– BBA from VSB – 3 years of study at VSB
– BBA + PGDBA – 3 + 1 years of study at VSB
– MBA from UMD – 4 years at VSB + 2 years at UMD
