About the Programme

The B.Tech. course in Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Artificial Intelligence offered by VIT-AP introduced from Fall of 2018. The goal of AI is to make a computer that can learn, plan, and solve problems autonomously. This programme provides the core concepts of Computer Science along with fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence. The curriculum focuses on how large data – such as large databases, languages, speech, vision can be processed to make decisions, it enables students to provide solutions to scientific, technological and complex real world problems.

This programme aims to impart the fundamental concepts of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning, and Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Block Chain and other areas. It also enables students to obtain programming skills, mathematical reasoning and communication skills.

Ample career opportunities exist in private companies, public organizations, health care industry, education and government institutions. The jobs in AI include Software analysts and developers, Computer scientists and computer engineers, AI Algorithm specialists, Research scientists, AI &ML Engineer, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Scientist, AI Software Engineer and so on.
